As part of academic audit in order to improve the quality of teaching learning process in affiliated colleges of JNTUH, and as per the Vision of our Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof A, Venu Gopal Reddy, it is proposed to conduct Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs) in core subjects of Engineering to help in improving the quality of teaching in affiliated colleges of JNTUH. This in turn will help in improving the quality of learning among student fraternity.

      In this connection, since majority of students in affiliated colleges belong to either CSE/ECE branches of Engineering, as a first step 2 FDP’s one in CSE on C Programming and Data Structures. and other in ECE on Signals Systems and Stochastic Processes were conducted in collaboration with TASK from 6th to 11th March 2017 which received good applauds .

      In continuation to the above FDPs, it is proposed to conduct two more FDPs on Data Science and R Programming in CSE and Digital Signal Processing in ECE Department from 11th to 16th December 2017 along with hands on sessions. Hence, all the college Principals/Directors/Secretaries are here by informed to utilize this opportunity and help in improving the quality of teaching of the faculty. Also, it is to inform that as per the directions of our Hon’ble Vice Chancellor the FDP will be conducted free of cost/without registration fee for the faculty of affiliated colleges of JNTUH.

      You are requested to nominate one faculty for each FDP who has taught the subject at least once and is planning to take up the subject in the forth coming Semester. The detailed brochures are enclosed for your information.

1. It is desirable to nominate faculty who have taught this subject atleast once.
2. Number of participants for the FDP is limited to 35 and selection of candidates for attending the FDP is on first come first serve basis. Hence the faculty are advised to register as early as possible.
